TOOLING INVENTORY MANAGER

Duties: Cataloging and organizing former shop inventory for disposal, refurb and/or move over to new facility. Structuring and organization of new facility using lean manufacturing principles for optimal use by students and faculty in a teaching environment. Assembled large comprehensive tool crib stocked with all manor of tooling. Built a tool cataloging system, with check-in/check-out system and direct reorder capability. Educated faculty and staff on use of new system, executed use of new system with students and staff, remained on staff to optimize the system for efficiency and best practices.
